Who we are

Precious Pound Pups Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3
​rescue licensed in NY and GA. We do not have a physical shelter and require an approved application prior to any adoption. We are solely made up of volunteers. ​

What we do

We rescue dogs from high kill shelters in the south. They are vetted and transported to the Hudson Valley. All our dogs are in foster homes until they find their forever homes.

​We rescue dogs frequently and some are undergoing vetting before becoming available for adoption. Check our coming soon page to see our newbies that will be making their way to NY.  If you don't find your potential new best friend, check back often as we are frequently saving lives. We encourage you to fill out an application. Once approved, your application is good for a year. ​
